Project: Cerebos Urban Planning

Client: Cerebos (Australia) Ltd via Wiley & Co.

Location: Seven Hills, NSW

Services Provided: Urban Planning & Waste Management Services

Project Details:
Cerebos Ltd is a large food manufacturing company whose operations have been severely hampered in recent years because their unloading/loading area for large trucks is exposed to the elements.  KMH Environmental subsequently worked with process engineers, Wiley & Co, to develop a solution to this problem and improve the efficiency of their operations. The outcome was the development of a large covered loading/unloading area upon a new concrete apron that has the ability to be fully enclosed. Following the establishment of this concept, the design was presented to the Council as part of pre-development application discussions to establish any key issues that may need to be further addressed. The key issues were determined to be local flooding, on site stormwater management and car parking. With a clear understanding of all pertinent issues a comprehensive development application was able to be prepared, submitted to Council and approved within a timely manner.
