pitt&sherry, the multi-specialist infrastructure consultancy, and KMH Environmental consultancy are merging operations.
The merger will strengthen the group’s capability to deliver projects in New South Wales, as well as providing an expanded service offering to clients throughout Australia.
The deal brings together specialist engineering and environmental services, and will deliver greater consistency, reliability and certainty in outcomes for clients.
KMH Environmental was founded in Sydney in 1998. It provides environmental planning and approvals advice, environmental management, waste management strategies and environmental engineering solutions.
‘This is an exciting phase for us, with many benefits for both parties, particularly in terms of specialist capability and geographic distribution,’ says Dan O’Toole, pitt&sherry CEO.
‘Each entity brings complementary disciplines to the arrangement.’
‘Most importantly, the synergies brought about by the merger will be a positive experience for our clients,’ he says.
KMH Environmental will co-brand with pitt&sherry to become part of the pitt&sherry group.
Ken Holmes, KMH Environmental Managing Director, will join the pitt&sherry leadership team in the position of Group Executive New South Wales to support the continued growth of the merged business.
‘The merger with pitt&sherry will bring significant benefits to KMH’s team and our clients,’ says Ken Holmes.
‘The combined operations of KMH and pitt&sherry will allow us to provide high-quality environmental approvals and engineering design services to Australia’s major infrastructure construction sector,’ he says.
