News - KMH Environmental participates in the Oxfam TRAILWALKER in Sydney
KMH Environmental fielded a team for the Oxfam TRAILWALKER in Sydney - the 5th time we have competed in this event. The event started on Friday 29 August. The Oxfam TRAILWALKER is a team endurance event where teams of four must complete a 100km course through the National Parks of Northern Sydney in under 48hrs! The purpose of the event is to raise funds to help Oxfam Australia support disadvantaged communities overseas and in Australia and through your generosity we were able to make substantial donations over the last 4 years. The KMH Team, 'The No Carbon Footprints', received a thank you for participation in the Oxfam TRAILWALKER Sydney 2008 and for raising an incredible $10,226 in support of fighting poverty and injustice from Oxfam Australia. The effort of the KMH team will help to build better lives for some of the world's most disadvantaged people in more than 28 countries, including Indigenous Australia. This event is now well on its way to exceeding the previous year's total of $3.2 million in support of Oxfam's ongoing work.
