Life Cycle Assessment


KMH undertakes Life-Cycle Assessments (LCA) consistent with the ISO 14040:2006 methodology and guidance of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) Green marketing and the Trade Practices Act.

 

KMH undertakes LCA to:

  • Compare the carbon footprint and energy costs of project, product or service alternatives;
  • Determine alternative production techniques to introduce efficiencies and carbon savings into manufacturing processes;
  • Enable a true picture of a product or service’s green credentials to be developed; and
  • Provide specialist support to environmental impact assessments and approvals.
