Energy and Carbon Reporting

Mandatory and voluntary reporting within the area of sustainability, energy and greenhouse has increased significantly in recent years as additional legislation is brought in and stakeholders demand better understanding. Whilst the impacts of untimely, incomplete or inaccurate reporting for voluntary undertakings are largely limited to reputation loss, there can be severe impacts in the case of mandatory reporting such as fines, heightened regulatory scrutiny or ceased operations.

KMH assists our clients with the preparation of:

Mandatory reports – such as those in response to legislation including:

  • National Greenhouse Energy Reporting System (NGERS) and OSCAR (see separate page on. For more information on how KMH can help you with your NGER requirements please click here.
  •
  • Energy Efficiency Opportunities (EEO)
  • National Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) & Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Act 2010. For more information on how KMH can help you with your NABERS requirements please click here.
  • Environment and Resource Efficiency Plan (EREP in Victoria)
  • Smart Energy Savings Program (in Queensland)
  • National Packaging Covenant/Inventory (NPC).

Voluntary reporting  - such as those generated to demonstrate:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and
  • Triple bottom line (TBL) commitments.
