KMH was commissioned by Integral Energy to conduct environmental awareness training for the corporation’s personnel and managers. The program consisted of several seminars and toolbox talks covering the aspects of environmental management relevant to their business, including: 

• Sediment and erosion control;
• Vegetation clearance;
• Waste and reuse;
• Protection of endangered species; and
• Storage of hazardous materials.

The training programs provided a basic overview of the importance of sound environmental management and the potential repercussions of mismanagement or neglect. Site managers received higher level training and were also given a hand-book outlining the basis of each toolbox talk so that issues could be effectively reinforced as needed on the ground.
