The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is  a 'one stop' shop for all operators seeking access to the National interstate rail network (www.artc.com.au).

ARTC has formed the  Upper Hunter Valley Alliance with Leighton Contractors to deliver a $152 million program of works on the Hunter Valley Rail corridor to increase the coal carrying capacity of the network.  In alliance with ARTC, Leighton Contractors will undertake all civil and track works in accordance from Singleton to Muswellbrook (Upper Hunter 1) and Muswellbrook to Werris Creek (Upper Hunter 2).

KMH Environmental is a sub-Alliance partner responsible for ongoing environmental assessments, construction environmental planning and management and site environmental supervision.  This also includes community engagement.  The role demonstrates KMH’s ability to plan and deliver proactive environmental management across a regional program of works.
