The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) have requested KMH Environmental, working as part of the Upper Hunter Valley Alliance (UHVA)(comprising Leighton Contractors, Coffey Geotechnics and Parsons Brinckerhoff), to undertake preliminary investigations associated with two proposed new infrastructure projects at Hexham and Murrurundi. This brings to a total of 12 projects the Alliance has been asked to investigate, design and construct.
