KMH Community Outreach Program - Minimbah Challenged |
As part of its ongoing community outreach program, KMH provided its specialist services pro bono to Minimbah Challenged Incorporated, a not-for-profit organisation that provides support services for severely disabled people.
Under the Public Facilities Program, the NSW government is offering up to $40,000 in grant funding for water and energy efficiency projects. In support of Minimbah’s grant application, KMH consultants conducted an on-site water and energy assessment of their care facility in Marsfield.
The assessment highlighted key water and energy efficiency opportunities for the facility to help reduce their resource use and improve comfort for its clients. KMH produced a technical report which detailed these key opportunities including the associated costs and water and energy savings as required by the program guidelines.
The grant application is currently under consideration by the NSW government.
